Fight Back SA provides regular free self-defense classes and free pepper sprays to the women of underprivileged communities where crime, rape, assault and substance abuse is at an all-time high. The training provided is done with the hopes of curbing GBV statistics by providing women with the skills they need to change the outcome of a violent situation.
How does Give with Ease assist?
Give with Ease has taken on Fight Back SA causes as if they are our own, whereby we will actively assist where we can. Donations received toward this cause will then be carried out by the Give with Ease team. We do not transfer funds directly to the organisations we partner with, but instead use them to assist these organisations. This is part of Give with Ease’s strategy to build trust with donors by ensuring we know where the donations are going and verifying their use.
What will this donation go towards?
This donation will go toward the Fight Back SA cause for their workshops, this encompasses (but is not limited to) the following:
- Trainer fees;
- Transportation costs for trainers, staff, and those attending the workshops;
- Pepper sprays that are to be distributed;
- Equipment that will assist in providing better training (training guns, training knives, etc); and
- Venue costs if applicable.
What percentage does Give with Ease take?
Give with Ease will take at most 10 percent of all donations towards this cause. Ideally it will be nothing, however, there could be additional internal costs within Give with Ease to carry out this cause. Give with Ease will use any donations directly to Give with Ease to always try and make this percentage taken 0.
Can you receive a Section 18A receipt?
